I know I gave my Mom a lot of work to do. On top of the whole giving me life thing and making sure I was safe and nourished she:
• supported me in all my extra curriculars in school (and there were a LOT); pushing me to take piano lessons, coming to football games to watch the halftime show, riding in a van with a bunch of crazy drama students to various exotic locations throughout Missouri, hosting cast parties until 2am, taking me to soccer practices/games,• sewed me a beautiful prom dress
• listened
• prepared yummy and healthful meals
• taught me valuable skills like gardening, sewing and being resourceful
• put up with a lot of "mood swings"
• worked to help support her large family
• established traditions like making holiday sugar cookies
• and a million other things but I'll stop here for now
I have a lot of other examples of great Moms around me, including 2 sisters, a sister-in-law and some great friends. I'm joining a great community of women this year!
This is my comparison of Halloween Juno costume and real belly Juno costume:
Don't read into the fact that Bleeker is missing in the 2nd photo. It was 1am and Jason was at the midnight showing of Ironman2. I couldn't find the skirt from before either. Same pants...quite a bit tighter. :)
Eleven days until the due date...I'm thinking she will be early. Last week I was great with waiting. I was comfortable and did not have any expectations. But a few days ago we had a fake out and now I'm uncomfortable and just waiting...
