Juno Shirt

Two Halloweens ago Jason and I made costumes of Bleeker and Juno, and it was super fun! The striped shirt was already in my wardrobe - so that was easy.  Now I want to wear it again just because now I really have the baby belly. I wonder which will look "more real"...the costume or the real thing? We fooled a lot of people with that down throw folded and stuffed into my shirt.

At my last doctor appointment things looked good - baby's growth is right on track. Mine isn't...I gained too much - possibly water weight. So now I am watching the sodium. Why is sodium in everything?!

I finally got my sewing area set up, with Mel Palm's help, and I am ready to get to work on some of these projects I've been talking about doing! I've made a few pairs of the recycled tshirt pants and they turned out great - since I'm not a perfectionist lots of things turn out "great".

This spring weather has come at the perfect time - I no longer have any desire to tie my shoes. Flip flops and slip-ons are my new friends. Maybe a pedicure should be my next new friend. Spring is also improving my moods, and is helping me enjoy pregnancy more. Open windows, garden work, and the sun on my face are the best anti-depressants ever!

On a difficult note, my Dad has developed prostate cancer and will be going through surgery and treatments soon. If you are reading this please take some time to pray for his health and strength. And that our family can be a source of comfort and support. On a happier note - Dad is going to be a FANTASTIC grandpa. He's great with babies and she is going to love him so much!  :)
