The "out-longer" birthday. Vera has now been out in the world for more than half her life. She is more interested in her surroundings than ever. Not long now until she is mobile, but we are enjoying that it hasn't happened yet! We updated the livingroom furniture so that it is more safe for Vera to crawl around. Next is switching out the blinds (so we don't have the long cords) and anchoring bookshelves and the grandfather clock to the wall. Then installing the baby gate.
She has eaten many kinds of foods as puree, and loves most of them. Sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, pumpkin, rice cereal, apples, cherries, plums, bananas, pears, lentils, black beans...Cheerios and puffs are also on the menu now and Vera is so proud when she gets to feed herself!
She hasn't enjoyed most of the green things - peas, green beans and even avocado.
