Holidays in Chicago and a very special visit to Wisconsin

Vera's great uncle Gary and great aunt Pam host a holiday celebration around New Years every year. It's always worth the drive to Naperville (a suburb of Chicago) to see all the family that gathers for this tradition. It was special this year to meet Vera's cousin Colin for the first time. He is so precious!
We also had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the hospitality of the Leavenworths.

Thanks Linds for these cute pics!!!

Then Vera got to meet her great grandma K! We only got to spend and hour and a half - but it was wonderful to be with her - it's been a long time! She's as beautiful as ever. :)
Four generations, pictured here with an American Indian family.
I hope Vera will be able to paint like her great grandma K!
